As part of the Year of Glacier Preservation, this powerful documentary explores the journey of glacial meltwater and the profound ways climate change is reshaping our mountains, waterways, and communities. Resonating deeply here in Aotearoa, Downstream is a call to action for all who love winter.
We have special guests, Prof. David Norton – featured in Downstream and expert on ecology and conservation biology as well as WAI Wānaka’s science and research lead, Ben Youngman joining us.
We’ll dive into what glacier loss means for New Zealand, what’s at stake, and how we can all be part of the solution.
Let’s gather as a community to protect our winters and the precious ecosystems that depend on them.
Plus all POW members (existing & new) in attendance will go into a prize draw for some Icebreaker x POW merch!
