Join us for a fun, hands-on evening focused on giving your winter gear a longer life!

At MT Outdoors Three Parks, Wanaka
We’ll be joined by some epic volunteers and partners who will help you:
- Learn how to care for your winter gear with Rab Lab
- Wax your skis or snowboard with demos & hands-on help from MT Outdoors
- Fix your ripped or holey gear (including merino and outer-wear patches, stitching and YKK zipper repairs) with Classic Stitch-Ups + other volunteers
Tickets are $10pp for non-members and include refreshments (drinks from b.effect + snacks from Little Brewer) plus materials for repairs/ waxing.
It’s free for POW members, plus members in attendance will also be entered into a raffle to win an epic MT outdoors voucher.
For the repairs:
Our volunteers are talented but not miracle workers, so be mindful repairs are for 1 item pp, that is a tear, rip or patch around 5-10cm, a seam that needs to be re-sealed, or some YKK zipper fixes (if unsure, bring a few options to select from).
Whether you’re a skier, snowboarder, or outdoor lover, this event is all about reducing waste, learning useful skills, and keeping your gear going for longer.
