The Queenstown Lakes District Council is currently seeking feedback on its proposed Waste Management and Minimisation Plan, and we urge our outdoor community to take this opportunity to make their voices heard.
Waste reduction is not just about bins, it’s about creating a system that protects the natural places we love, supports circular solutions, and builds a more resilient future.
To share your feedback on the plan click here. The survey is open until June 30th.
In order to complete the survey you must create an account with the QLDC. You can do that here.
From kerbside green waste collection to repair events and composting, the plan includes actions worth supporting – but it needs to go further, faster. The more submissions the Council receives, the stronger the mandate for bold, systemic change. Now’s the time to speak up.
