Trees For Canterbury have organised a morning of tree-planting on Saturday, 6th October, and we would love for you to join us in assisting them to establish additional native trees and shrubs in the Horseshoe Lake Reserve!
We all love skiing, snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking etc. Our favourite outdoor playgrounds are under threat, from climate change and other actions.
POW will have a plant-based BBQ following the planting, with an opportunity to learn about your local outdoor playgrounds, public lands and how to make them last. Calculate your carbon footprint with us and plant trees to help offset it!
Entry to the planting site near the corner of Horseshoe Lake Road and Broomfield Terrace. There is plenty of parking on Broomfield Terrace, opposite Burwood Park North.
Look for the signs. Bring along family, friends and a spade!
