Dr Kelli Archie is a research fellow at the Climate Change Research Institute at Victoria University of Wellington. She is an environmental social scientist, whose research focuses on climate change adaptation; specifically how attitudes and beliefs can affect barriers to adaptation planning and implementation, climate information communication and household level adaptation in vulnerable areas. As a native of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, she is particularly interested in alpine and mountainous regions and has worked around the world in the United States, the Indian Himalayas, Vanuatu and New Zealand.
