As part of International Year of Glacier Preservation 2025, this powerful documentary explores the journey of glacial meltwater and the profound ways climate change is reshaping our mountains, waterways, and communities.

Resonating deeply here in Aotearoa, Downstream is a call to action for all who love winter.

As part of our panel we will have special guests including:

  • Prof. Nicolas Cullen, a climatologist, meteorologist and expert on south island glaciers
  • Nick Pascoe, a local adventure enthusiast who recently finished an epic ski/ packraft trip through the NZ alps
  • Christina McCabe, a local ecologist focusing on human-nature relationships

We’ll dive into what glacier loss means for New Zealand, what’s at stake, and how we can all be part of the solution. So let’s gather as a community to help protect our winters and the precious ecosystems that depend on them.

All POW members (existing & new) will go into a prize draw to a pair of Icebreaker x POW merch!
