Come together with members of the outdoor community in Christchurch (Ōtautahi) for a screening of the full POW x Icebreaker Downstream documentary at POW partners Further Faster. This will be followed by a panel discussion with scientists, athletes, and businesses on the impacts of glacier recession, and the importance of collective action and systemic change.
As part of the Year of Glacier Preservation, the powerful documentary–produced by Protect our Winters in partnership with Icebreaker–explores the journey of glacial meltwater and the profound ways climate change is reshaping our mountains, waterways, and communities. Resonating deeply here in Aotearoa, Downstream is a call to action for all who love winter.
Let’s gather as a community to protect our winters and the precious ecosystems that depend on them. All money raised on the evening goes directly to Protect Our Winters New Zealand
